The Reverse Raffle is held at the Palazzo in Botkins in early spring during Lent. The next one will be April 5, 2025. It is a night of fellowship and good food for 300 people who have a chance to win the grand prize. There are silent and live auction items and door prizes, along with a Second Chance Board and more. Tickets will be available in February and sell out quickly. Donations of prizes are appreciated!
The St. Joseph Festival is held yearly on July 3rd and 4th at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds. There is entertainment both days under the big tops. Check out bingo, the novelty stands, the cake wheel, or enter the cornhole tournament. There are over 15 food stations to choose from and the largest children’s tent of games in the area! Pony rides, train rides, and magic shows will keep the kiddos entertained. Fireworks close out the festival on July 4th.

Fryburg Homecoming is an annual festival held each year on the Sunday before labor day. This year’s festival will mark our 135th year! The festivities begin at 4pm and last till 11pm. This festival provides an affordable, small town atmosphere. The games and food line are run by generations of parish family members. The food line boasts their specialty, mock turtle soup. This soup recipe has been handed down for generations and is made in large black kettles over an open fire. At the festival, you will also find games of chance, bingo, kids games, a beer tent with live music, and many friendly smiles.
