CLERGY

Fr. Sean Wilson

Pastor   [email protected]

Fr. Sean was ordained May 21, 2016 and was assigned here as the Parochial Vicar. On July 1, 2018 he began his role as pastor. He enjoys staring at maps for an unreasonably long time and playing a little golf in his free time. As a parish priest, any number of things happen in a day: daily Mass, confessions, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, teaching groups and classes, administration, leadership, declarations of nullity, anointing of the sick, and anything else. For most things, it is best to contact the office first. The parish office can schedule meetings with him, get the ball rolling on your wedding plans, and get you to the right team member.

Fr. Ethan Hoying

Parochial Vicar   [email protected]

Fr. Hoying was ordained May 21, 2022. Prior to being ordained, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Honors Philosophy from the Pontifical College Josephinum as well as his Master of Arts in Theology and his Master of Arts in Divinity from Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West and School of Theology. Upon ordination, he was assigned to Holy Cross Family of Parishes in Coldwater and Ft. Recovery. On October 14, 2024, he began his role here as parochial vicar. A parochial vicar is a parish priest who works alongside the pastor and is appointed to act on their behalf. Some of their duties include: administering the sacraments, assisting in office administration and leadership, fostering charitable works and missionary discipleship, supporting youth ministry and education, offering counsel and spiritual guidance, and providing support for families. In the words of Christ: ‘“You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’” (Mt. 22:37-39).

Deacon Terry Coleman

Deacon Terrell “Terry” Coleman was ordained in April of 2004. He has been married to Mary for 51 years. He has four children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He enjoys reading and gardening. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1972 and enjoys everything Notre Dame. His ministerial duties as a deacon in our parish include: assisting at Holy Mass, performing baptisms, preparing couples for marriage, witnessing marriages, declarations of nullity, presiding at Benediction, and funeral services. He has been a CCD teacher and is currently a catechist at RCIA. He is also a Schoenstatt Deacon.

Deacon Nicholas Jurosic

Deacon Nick was ordained on April 24, 2004. He has been married to his wife Marie for 43 years, and they have two children and one grandchild, who is always fun to spend time with and learn from. His first assignment included St. John in Fryburg and St. Patrick in Glynwood. Before retirement, he worked as a Seabee in Gulfport, Mississippi, as an engineering aid. He values being a deacon assigned at our parish and being able to cover weddings and baptisms from time to time. He enjoys serving at Mass, proclaiming the Gospel, and receiving the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist. He also enjoys painting and doing stained glass art, as well as seeing the friendly and smiling faces of our parishioners.

Deacon Jeff Little

Deacon Jeff was ordained on April 23, 2022. He has been married to Laura for 23 years. They have 4 children. He works in his home as a structural Revit designer for an engineering company. Jeff has loved his first couple years of serving Holy Face of Jesus Parish by celebrating baptisms, weddings, and serving at Mass. Always eager to share his faith, Jeff enjoys teaching the occasional RCIA session and helps teach the 7th and 8th grade CCD students. Jeff loves to laugh, loves getting to know the parishioners, and usually has a fantastic “dad joke” up his sleeve. Never done learning, Jeff loves to explore and dive deeper into our Catholic faith by reading as many books on the faith as he can. Jeff denies that he has a Catholic book addiction (his wife and kids say he does).

Deacon Jeff Little

Deacon Rick Westbay

Deacon Rick was ordained on September 23, 1995. He serves our parish in many areas, including baptisms, marriage preparation, funerals, and the occasional cantor. He enjoys serving at Mass and being part of the parish community. He has been married to Louise for 45 years. They have 5 children and 13 grandchildren. He works as a Buyer/Inventory-Coordinator at Airstream in Jackson Center. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his family and doing a little woodworking.

Pam Coon

Stephen Ministry Leader  [email protected]

Pam Coon began volunteering as Stephen Leader for our parish after 50 hours of training in January 2019. Stephen Ministry provides Christ-centered, confidential care to those experiencing a new normal – after a death, a job loss, a diagnosis, a life transition, and loneliness. We listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support. Contact Pam to see if having a Stephen Minister would be a good fit for you or if you would like to train to be a minister. We are not meant to walk alone. Fun fact: Pam may or may not have jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.

Adam Fahncke

Director of Music at St. John & St. Joseph  [email protected]

Adam began employment as Music Director of St. Joseph July of 2014. Even though employment started in 2014, he has been an active music minister even longer, dating back to the early 2000s. More recently, he has taken a more leadership position to help facilitate the music ministry across the Holy Face of Jesus Parish. Adam plans and coordinates the choirs for family-wide parish events including Confirmation and Easter. Adam is a very analytical person, and as a result, is able to determine patterns and relationships when listening to film, TV, and game soundtracks – in other words, he can listen to a soundtrack and visualize in detail exactly the events happening on screen.

Willig, assisting with daily and weekend Masses, weddings, and funerals. Among his other duties he is teaching junior high CCD, helping with Alpha, home-bound ministry, hospital visits and generally getting to know the parish and the people, so make sure to say hello if you get the chance! Her favorite program is the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She volunteered to help get the program started and has taken the training to be a catechist. Her Catholic Faith has grown by being a part of CGS, and she highly recommends this program to all children ages 3 through 6 years of age. Pam made her Schoenstatt Convent of Love in 2017 and has a strong devotion to Mary because of it. When not working, she enjoys babysitting her grandchildren, spending time with family, and riding her horse. She is also a huge fan of the Peanuts cartoon, especially Snoopy!

She also takes care of the registrations and prepares the classrooms for CCD. Denise also organizes and oversees the Sacramental preparations for the second graders receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist. In January of 2024, Denise began implementing Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to our parish.
